Registration Information (Updated 9/28/24)

Posh Paint Pottery Summer Arts & Crafts camps are now 9am to 3pm, five days a week. Please provide your camper with a bagged lunch. Our Holiday camps are 9am to 12pm. We provide all of the materials needed for all of our experiences!

Posh Paint Pottery's camps are ideal for those aged 5-8 and 9-12. We split the children into these two age groups to make sure all of our campers get the most of their arts experience! Below is a typical week at the studio during our Summer Camp; Our Holiday camps are 3 days of the week unless otherwise noted.

• We always have an age-appropriate and skill-level sensitive approach to each individual camper's needs and abilities.
• Campers will be guided through several different arts and crafts projects with a focus on what is known as "the fired arts" (ceramics that are baked in a kiln) throughout the week. 
• These projects include, but are not limited to: pottery painting, pottery making (hand-building with clay), wheel-throwing, mold making, slip casting, life casting, canvas (acrylic) painting, resin casting, slime making, jewelry making, beading, collage, watercolors, pastels, papier mache, and glass painting!
• Through these fun projects campers will be introduced to elements of color theory, sculpture, art history, handicrafts (manual dexterity), anthropology, figure casting, compositional theory, and just good old arts and crafts!

While the exact projects will vary, you can expect your camper to have finished 5 to 8 incredible projects by the end of the week. When possible, we try to have our curriculum accessible so you and your camper have an idea of what we'll be working on. At the very least, you will always get a detailed account of what to expect emailed to you the weekend prior to your camp attendance.
